What is "Hero of war" about? 

  • Write a short text where you summarize the lyrics with your own words. 
  • What does he have to do to be able to see the world? 
  • What does he think will happen if he does this? 
  • Who is the man he sings about and what do they do to him? Why?
  • Who is the woman and what happens to her? 
  • What is the meaning of the line: ”A flag white as snow”? Why is this important?
  • In the end he sings the same lines as he did in the beginning, what do you think he would say if he got asked again? Explain and motivate why you think so.

Assignment 

Hand in a text or make a vidoe where you tell me about "Hero of war" and a song of your choice. I want you to write down your own thoughts. What do you think about wars? Would you have gone to war if you were him? Can you relate to the text you chose?
